Room Parents & Parent Assisted Learning (PALs)

Room Parents are the PTA's front line!!!
These devoted volunteers plan two class parties a year and celebrate their teacher's birthday with the class. They may also be asked to coordinate Classroom PALS, Teacher Appreciation activities, a classroom art project for the Black Bear Bash, and find volunteers to work the School Store. Some grade levels have special events and activities that require additional participation. Room Parents step in where we need involvement the most -
in Blattman's classrooms with our kids and teachers!
Please note: Room parents will not be selected until
Friday Sept 3rd. It is organized by the PTA not by the teachers.

PALs Certain volunteer positions are referred to as "PAL". PAL stands for Parent Assisted Learning. These dedicated individuals work under the direction of the Blattman faculty. They assist the coaches, art teacher, nurse, librarian and classroom teachers. PALs help with classroom activities, displaying art work, testing hearing, stocking library shelves, stuffing Friday folders, and much,much more! Every teacher needs a PAL! |
